LaBelle Marvin has been providing evaluation, design, and construction oversight for pavement systems throughout the Western United States since 1969. Utilizing trained technical and engineering staff combined with the latest in evaluation procedures is the basis for designing cost effective maintenance of your pavements.

Embracing state of the art field and laboratory evaluation technologies, LMI has evaluated over 100,000 miles of roadway and hundreds of retail, commercial and private residential pavements over the past 50+ years. Our goal for sustainable pavement solutions is to effectively reuse existing roadways through timely rehabilitation, thereby providing a sustainable long term pavement solution.

Steve Marvin

Company President and Principal Engineer, Steve Marvin provides guidance and insight while leading the team of engineers and technical personnel dedicated to pavement performance. Steve has embraced the concept of sustainable pavements and construction waste reduction through salvaging and reuse of existing pavement systems, limiting impacts on the end user, reducing impacts on the environment, and exploring the latest in cost effective pavement rehabilitation and construction. Steve exemplifies the corporate passion for providing excellence in pavement evaluation and design.

Ed Perez

Ed Perez provides job specific engineering for a full range of pavements with a focus on pavement quality and performance. Ed has spearheaded the evaluation and design of timely and effective methods of pavement maintenance and rehabilitation of maintenance pavement systems, ranging from roads and parking lots to airports. Ed oversees projects from inception to completion of construction to ensure the proper design and construction methods are employed on all projects.

Griffin Marvin

Company Director of Operations and Project Manager, providing companywide technical and scheduling oversight of the daily operations. Responsible for the company’s efficiency and advancing growth meeting current and prospective client needs, while keeping all projects organized, on time and within budget. Griffin provides the implementation of emerging technologies of Ground Penetrating Radar, Falling Weight Deflectometer, Geographic Information Systems, Computer Aided Drafting, and Pavement Management Programs.

Tom Williams

Tom is the heart of the LMI laboratory, insisting on full adherence to investigation protocols. Under his watch, technical training and equipment calibrations are held to the highest order. Scheduling of field crews, coordinating a safe work environment and addressing the challenges of a working laboratory while advancing staff technical skills ensures all investigations and testing provided meet or exceed National and State and local standards.
